Anna and Henry

By AnnaandHenry

Is it time to go yet?

Henry really made me laugh today by grabbing his snow suit and dragging it towards the door as if to say "well are we going outside then?!"

We're pretty snowed in here so have had a quiet day. Henry allowed us a lie in until 8am(!) then we pottered around playing with wooden fruit and pots and pans. After a nap we headed outside - it was snowing and Henry wasn't keen on the snow falling in his face to start with but got over it and started enjoying himself quickly.

After that the afternoon passed in a blur of colouring, reading and cuddling. He's got a bedtime book which has a removable teddy bear that you get ready for bed by taking his clothes off, bathing him, putting pyjamas on, brushing teeth then putting to bed and Henry has taken to getting the pillow out of the bed page, putting it on the floor then trying to lay on it and pretending to go to sleep! Bearing in mind it's only the size of a playing card, it makes a funny sight and has Neil and I in hysterics.

We noticed tonight that his tongue has lots of little ulcers on it again - no wonder he won't eat anything other than yogurt! I'm hoping its not a return of the illness he had that led to his hospital admission - keeping a close eye for now.
