Twenty One...

What is Twenty One? I just worked out that it is actually half of Forty Two which just happens to be the answer to the unltimate question of life, the universe and everything according to Douglas Adams but that has no bearing on the usage of the number in this house.

The number Twenty One in this house is the exact time any task that is timed takes. "I'll time you to go and get your jammies...Oh, 21 seconds, well done.", "Right, run up the stairs, jump up and down ten times then back down. Yeah, that took you 21 seconds."

Very falsifiable with some cunning stopwatch manipulation and still rather funny.

In other news unrelated to the number 21, MrsTFP and Bethany went up to the cinema so Ewan and I went on a nice wee walk to the bottle bank and back. It took a wee bit to convince him to come with me but it was worth it.
