Saturday Sunset

I went with H to a Suffolk Historic Churches study day. As it will be 1000 years this year since the Abbey at Bury St Edmunds was founded the theme was St Edmund and the Abbey. One of the talks was about the cloisters cross in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, that is probably the cross made by Master Hugo at the Abbey in the 12th century. 

I am all for St Edmund becoming the patron saint of England.
