End of an era

Or a new beginning. Yesterday saw the total "destruction" or should I say dismantling of my old gym via a clearance auction of everything that had been built up in this business over the last 30 or so years.

It was a day of sadness and drama at the auction. This model of treadmill was my personal favourite and I badly wanted to acquire just one item from the gym for training at home. This was the last of 10 of this brand and model of treadmill and I thought I had missed out.

However the auction went so fast I did not know I had been successful until the end of the day when they sent me the invoice! This is the photo today when we went to pay for it, with collection booked for tomorrow. The end of a sad saga for the 10,000 gym members but a new beginning for us at home.
