The Line Out

Today I was lucky enough to go to Sandy Park for the Exeter Chiefs game. They were entertaining Leinster, the current European Champions!

It was always going to be a tough ask, especially given the strength of the Leinster squad. Players like Jonny Sexton, Gordon D'arcy, and Brian O'Driscoll were a few of the star names on show.

D'arcy crashed over the try line in the 3rd minute and it looked like the Chiefs were going to be in for a long night! However the Chiefs have come a long way in the last couple of years and are no mugs themselves. They showed their fighting spirit and battled back to lead at half time, but eventually Leinster's quality shone through and they ended up the victors by 29-20.

Thanks to Shane for sorting the tickets, a free match programme and the VIP bar were great perks (the bar especially as it was absolutely freezing in the stands)!
