Sunrise today.
Thanks to all of you who sent best wishes because Stephen is in ITU.
He will be transferred to a Surgical ward tomorrow.
He is looking so much better and our son Alan drove up from Bristol today to see him.
I hadn't told his dad and stood just outside his room to watch the reaction,
Their reaction to each other brought tears to a nurse's eyes.
I'm very tired it was a long long roller coaster of a day yesterday.
So I will not be writing much once he is home .
He won't be out of hospital till next Monday, so will be in there on his own birthday on Saturday,. I'm just so thankful he is still with us. I gave the Consultant Surgeon a huge hug and said thankyou for saving Stephen's life.
Now in jimjams, ready for bed. It was almost 11.30pm last night when my friend dropped me back home. Hubby only got back from recovery at 10.00 pm. But the staff took me to see him and drop off a small case of necessary stuff.
Extra of me on my first birthday Feb 4th 1949. I couldn't get it to post yesterday.
All for now,
