Church of St John the Baptist

This church was started in the 12th century. Over the years the town of Burford became wealthy though the production of wool and is now the largest church in the Cotswolds.

I loved the light on the beautiful Cotswold stone, the extra is the High Street, pity about the cars although there were fewer today than I have seen in the past, I guess it is not the tourist season.
