Alice in Onsieland!

Normally me and this particular group of Mad Burds only have the chance to get together once a year. Last year it took us till December to meet up but when we heard one of our friends, Heather who emigrated to Australia 5 years ago, was coming home for a visit in January, we moved heaven and earth to get as many of our little merry band together for a catch up.

We were a little worried last night that the weather would scupper our plans but whilst snow was piling down all over the UK, my little patch was clear so everyone made it (apart from Eileen and Marie bu that was due to prior engagements).

And so another great night was had. It was so wonderful to catch up with Heather and hear all her exciting news first hand rather than by email. And once again we had an evening of much laughter, full on discussions, immature silliness great sophistication. ;-)

I was having such a great time that the last thing on my mind was taking photos but when Alice appeared in her Onsie I could not resist. She struck some hilarious poses but I was laughing so much, the shots are all ruined by camera shake so this tame shot will have to do :))

Oops, forgot to day also had a vist in the afternoon from Step dad John and Ele, each bringing my birthday gifts early just incase we all get snowed in and they miss the day, How lovely was that?! Thank you xxx
