Face to Face

Last year a new independent bookshop opened in town. I can't believe it took me till today to get down there. 

It didn't disappoint, but it didn't thrill. Perhaps because I'd visited another branch in St Andrews, and it doesn't have quite the same feel about it. Obviously I'll have to keep popping in to see if it grows on me ....

And it is quite handy for John Lewis.

The classical columns are on the side of the building it occupies. The new build has been shoe-horned in between it and a Victorian church. There's a little bit of every style in this part of town. You can just see Scotland's Disgrace through the gap.
