A simple life

An early ski in the dark first thing this morning - my first of the season and first from this house. Just along the road for a bit - haven't yet sussed out the best hills.

Almost lost Skye when she took off across the countryside in pursuit of a deer - a second deer had cunningly stood stock still when its pal took off - a great strategy, until Skye also discovered it when she returned from chasing the first one. Rinse and repeat.

The doorstep is my fridge for the next couple of weeks - working well so far, although I had to unbury the beer last night.

Had a frustratingly unproductive afternoon of indecisiveness in Dundee's DIY shops, but made up for it with some good old fashioned tile-bashing tonight.
