Lovely sunny day. I did my usual walk around Blackford Hill. Saw the rat being busy along the pond. 

Updated my photo processing software to darktable v 3. So far I am very happy with the new version. I looks somewhat slicker. I haven't yet tried the culling mode. One thing that is still not quite right is that my new standard zoom lens does not get identified correctly. I tracked it down to the version of exiv2. A newer version does do the right thing unfortunately the next update of my base OS does not come with the new version. I suspect I will have to do some digging.
