Baby you're much too fast

Yeah,  so up til we bought Mr Reese ( our beautiful black and gold Captur), we had always used vehicles as a means to an end.

If they drove they sufficed.

If they were rusty - it was a little added ventilation.

If the hand brake didn't work, we just became really skilled at balancing the biting point.

Then we bought Mr Reese.

He was sophisticated.  He was shiny.  He was a good car.  He drove.  He didn't break down.  He passed his MOT.    The Garage when we dropped it in for a service and said "what's wrong with him", would laugh and say "nothing".  and we would snigger hysterically for hours on end.

Then the garage called and said, "hey you've had mr Reese for 32 months, - how do you fancy having a look at an other one.

We couldn't could we?     It's not what we do.

So on Sunday, when we were looking for a vacuum at Currys - we stopped off - just for a look mind.

And here we are two days later...with Red.   And boy is he red.

I'm unsure how I feel about this.

I couldn't make up my mind about the vacuum i was looking for and Si was so sure.   he's bigger than Mr Reese - which poses problems.  Mostly because I scream at other drivers of "big cars" on the road about "taking up too much bloody space" and "drive in your own lane mate".

I wouldn't let Si park him down the side of the house -cause I'm scared I couldn't get my arse out.

I'm going to have to think about this, take somet ime to get used to him.
