Face the fear and do it anyway

This is Sarah and Anne, in the snow, in the hills around Cheltenham

I don't really like snow, well that's unfair. I don't like snow+slope. Never been sledging, never been skiing. I grew up in the fens and fall over at any hint of a snow and slope.

Sarah wanted to go and take photos of snow, I agreed because usually when she says that she means the nice flat park. Oh no, today after I finished work we walked up a very steep hill, all around and back down again. I had YakTraks, I took walking poles (and looked like a complete tool walking to work with those on my back in the morning). At the top the snow was very deep, a foot or so in places. But we went up and around and down and didn't fall over.

Didn't even fall over after the 3 medicinal pints in the pub afterwards.
