Headshots

I am repeating my self, but I am still not well and was happy that my customer was only booked in for 11am.
I made it to be presentable at that time.
Neil (other Neil) is a very interesting man with a lot of experience in banking. I took immediate liking to him when I met him at the networking.
I knew he was a challenge to photograph, due to his very large and prominent birthmark which effects half his face and I also knew that getting his photo taken will not be something he likes in general.
so we started with coffee in my kitchen and a good chat, exchanging life stories etc and getting to know each other.
After that we moved to the studio.
I had already thought a lot about the lighting for him but was still worried if I could pull that off.
We started quite stiff but then continued more and more, chatting and enjoying each others humour. His was quite wicked.
And then it happened - he relaxed and started even enjoying himself. 
and I got some fabulous photos!!!
The paper bag was his idea, towards the end of the shoot. I don't think he expected that I would immediately get one! 
so we did have fun!
We ended with anther coffee then he left after 2 pm.
I was a bit dizzy after all that coffee, but made my way to Papercup to get us beans and have a cortado.

Back home I edited the photos - as we had chosen the fav already (the very last photo!

I was ready at 7 pm and it was time to get out and meet Maciej who was in Glasgow.
We went to Balbirs for an Indian, as I thought cold and curry is a good combination.
It was good to catch up and I was home at 11 pm, finding my Neil as expected at his computer killing things.
We caught up and went a bit on the couch before bed.

I had to blip the bag shot, but in the extra you will find the real one. He really was relaxed and happy at that point. And I am very proud that I managed that.
