Cyclamen
The weather has not been very inspiring today (see the post under Mike's Photo Diary on my own web site), so I took some photos of another one of my Cyclamen. These are amongst my favourite flowers - elegant, but not over the top, and the foliage is beautiful too. They flower for months too, and after a rest in the summer, most are ready to be revived for another year in September. This particular one is at lest 3 years old, but is slightly unusual in that the flower stems are very short, so that the flowers appear in amongst the leaves - most of my cyclamen have long-stemmed flowers, so that they appear well above the leaves. Most of my cyclamen have been grown from seed: originally I found it relatively easy to grow them this way, but strangely I seem to have less and less success growing them that way.
