Tiny Tuesday - Red Illyarrie

As we drove around to the Ruff Ruff dog groomers this morning we passed this lovely Illyarrie tree which had lost a big branch in the wind last night and it was laying on half of the road!

I dropped Toto off and came back and got lots of photos, surprisingly the whole branch was covered in bees zooming in and out of all the flowers. Weirdly lots of drivers tooted me as if to say get off the road! Which was strange because they couldnt drive through the big branch anyway!!

When the red caps pop off the beautiful yellow flower emerges. We used to call these Red Cap trees for obvious reasons ;o)
