Not just a roast chicken ....

This is no ordinary roast chicken! Harrison, the most amazing nearly 8 year old declared last night after cooking us tea that he wanted to learn how to cook the roast! So, after a walk to the local asda in almost blizzard conditions (!) he picked every single ingredient himself and then has cooked and flavoured it all himself ( only with help for the hot and hard bits!). He sniffed and tested herbs for the flavouring of the chicken and chose salt, pepper, thyme with a hint if basil and loads of lemon zest!!! A perfect meal by my little masterchef xxx
