Toft Zig-Zag

Sunny day, but very windy. Took my Mum down the beach at Boscombe and we had a little wander along and then back to the car. The whole place looks very run down, and not just Boscombe (which always looked run down). Bournemouth is a shadow of its past glory now; the gardens are not as nice, the buildings all look tatty, shops in the "posh" bits of town are all fast-food take-a-ways or closed up. The local department store Beales is now in the process of going; I recall when there was Beales on one side of town and Bealesons on the other!
