Everybody loves jumping in muddy puddles

Mum and Dad came round in the morning for a coffee and to see the progress on the house. I did some cleaning and tidying while the girls played nicely (mostly anyway). After lunch we met with Dena and walked around the lake and river. The girls enjoyed throwing stones in the river whilst I watched anxiously with them close to the bank, the water was high and running quickly. Trying to let them explore whilst not being over protective is not my skill. The other side of the lake was a big puddle which they have enjoyed playing in before. Depsite the waterproofs and wellies both ended up with soaking wet feet and leggings. We went to collect the shopping from tesco, freecycled the old TV unit and cooked dinner. Tried a new recipe with cauliflower, red onion, pine nuts and raisins, it was very nice.
