Hero to Zero

I got this book a couple of years back and found it a thoroughly good read but all that has changed over the last couple of months with all the revelations that have come out. Anyone who knew me would tell you that for a long time I couldn't believe that he took PEDs ( performance enhamcing drugs ).

I chose to burn his book as I could no longer look at him as a hero but only as a drug cheating bastard and a liar. I know that the sport of cycling has been marred by some sort of drug for decades but I don't think ever on this scale. His career is now in ashes along with this book and I hope it stays there.

I find the title of this book - it's not about the bike - very true now as it was all about the PEDs to gain the advantage to feed his own personnal greed.
