Protest march
I’m not normally known for being particularly militant; however, today mum and I joined our first protest march. Secondary education is going through something of an overhaul in the island. The committee in charge of education have somehow managed to propose a system that 87% of teachers are opposed to! So today upwards of 2500 people took to the streets of St Peter Port in the hope that they would be able to persuade the relevant people to pause and reflect before steam-rollering this ridiculous decision through the States.
