Ten out of ten

For my fabric origami course!  There were only four of us today, but we all managed to produce pieces that we were happy with. 

It was a very intriguing process to learn, and interestingly, synthetic fibres work best! These are placed in the paper origami ‘mould’ which is then wrapped in silver foil and steamed, to set the creases. 

I’d like to try with some of my sudbury silk, backing it in a polyester, to see if that will hold a shape, plus a very thin leather. 

The only annoyance was the absence of greater Anglia trains this weekend, so I had a very convoluted journey home,
