Pixie
This little brass pixie comes from the Cockington Forge in Devon. As far as I can remember it was always on my dad's keyring. After he died mum attached it to hers. Now my younger son has it on his keyring, as blipped. I don't know when dad acquired it - he wasn't known to holiday in Torquay and it seems a bit whimsical for him. There must be a story but I don't know it. Anyway it's nice to see it still in ornamental use.
Babysitting last night went well. The baby sister was a wee bit unsettled but who can blame her. The four year old went off to bed perfectly but a lot later than usual so was a bit bleary this morning. The only problem was Flora who is terribly jealous of the girls. For the first time in nearly a year she pee'd on the carpet. That's a good 'look at me'! Then she wouldn't settle at bedtime so Cameraman had to sleep in the sitting room with Flora in her travel crate. Honestly what a palaver.
The family has now set off for home leaving us with a very wet Sunday afternoon. Flora hasn't been for a walk yet so I think it'll be foul weather gear and out.
