" Seek and ye shall find "

It is a very dull cloudy day and I wanted to use my new camera with the telephoto lens, but the deer and other critters were having a day of rest.
After all it is Sunday !
Many, many decades ago my art teacher taught me to stop trying to find the subject and it will find you.
Sage advice. In the distance I saw this tree that had seen better days and I was at once drawn to the roots and the base of the tree. There was an abundance of colors and textures.
I took the photograph and it is here without any changes. Mother nature is responsible for this excellent scene, not me.
