Sloppy Joe Slop

I hate that sloppy joe gets such a bad rap. I can't think of one male that actually likes sloppy joe. As a child, when my Mama made them it was one of my favorite meals! When Robby and I started dating, I wanted to share my same love for them with Robby. Not once did I know he secretly was not fan of almighty sloppy joe until we got married, then the truth came out.

Every man I know has one main issue w the American classic... It's too "sloppy"! Really - That's your excuse?!?! I guess I'm use to piling the add ons on and with my 1st bite, everything falls off that sloppy joe's sloppiness is normal. Well, one day as Robby and I were watching HGTV, a Pillsbury commercial came on for Sloppy Joe Biscuit Cups... We sat silently watching as my mouth starts to salivate and when it was over I looked at Robby and he said, "that might work". WIN!!!

They were a success packed full of deliciousness and the best part... No mess!!! I highly suggest making them. Why had i never thought if this before??? Seriously, every true southerner knows any food tastes better on a biscuit!

PS: I did not follow this recipe for making the Sloppy Joe, but it does sound pretty good!!!
