Sledge squeeze
We braved the blizzard like conditions this morning to head off to our local park.
We sledged (although it was a bit of a tight squeeze getting both kids into the sledge), made snow angels, threw snowballs, watched people skiing, running and cycling and then headed home when Dexter made it very clear that he'd had enough as he clearly didn't like the snow on his face - it was gathering on his eyelashes and the fact that his hands were cold (he still can't make the connection between no gloves + snow = cold hands).
Everywhere looks so pretty in the snow but the roads were treacherous as those who had ventured out where having a tough time controlling their cars. I really hope the gritters come out tomorrow as I really don't fancy the drive to creche and school tomorrow in this weather :(
PS I have finally started putting some photos in my Blipfolio as I couldn't decide which photo to use today. Don't know why I haven't used this before!
