Hello Beautiful!
The Camellia sasanqua 'Yuletide', named because it theoretically blooms around Christmas, is just breaking into full bloom in my garden. Granted, the sasanquas have been blooming in Portland since December, as have many of the japonicas. This lovely is tucked into a corner of my garden where it gets no full sun and stays very cool. So it typically blooms around Valentine's Day.
Felt pretty chipper today, but still lying low. It seems if I expend even a bit too much energy I'm down again for a day. Fingers crossed I'm getting to the end of this lurgy!
Happy Weekend!
