Winter walk

Rich pickings today blip-wise ... I wasn't sure which image to pick but went for this one in the end. If interested, there are a few others here. I marvel at the ability of the white stuff to not only transform a landscape, but also effect changes in people's behaviour. For the better, I hasten to add!

I returned to the same spot as Wednesday's blip. On a non-snow day, walking up these fields, you might come across handful of dog walkers. Today, there must have been close on a hundred people, many of those kids - and adults - sledging. It looked terrific fun. Most had 'proper' sledges, but others had fashioned them out of dustbin lids and even from an estate agent's 'For Sale' sign!!
