An 80th birthday lunch for a friend

Celebrating Ann’s birthday has become an annual event and yesterday she was 80. This is the only time we get together with three of us preparing the food and taking it in turns to host the event. A lovely afternoon and Ann who doesn’t keep too well quietly taking it all in. Loud and amusing we had a good time.

As usual I forgot to take a photo before eating, (the only one taken today), annoying but pleased I caught one with J raising a glass. This was her third birthday treat with a big party in two weeks time.
