the *mighty* 'Meikle Bin'

Spent the day over in the Campsie Fells - we used to walk there a lot when we were much younger, and I took a bit of a trip down memory lane today by conquering the *mighty* 'Meikle Bin' ...

... first time I ascended 'Meikle Bin', think I was about 12-years old, and it felt like we were on top of the world :-)

No such luck today - weather was slightly inclement! - but didn't dampen my excitement at reaching the summit trig-point, as per in the main snap. Couple of extras showing one of the way-markers on the ascent; and a view from the descent.
