Relocated

The armillary sphere (sundial to most people) was on the deck in front of the summer house but as the adjacent Norwegian Maple has grown so the hours that the sun actually shone on the gnomon got less and less.
We decided to shift it to form a feature of the new gold border and after giving the new slab concrete 6 days to harden we moved the pedestal and cap today. We think it looks quite smart in its new location and can now get on with sourcing some golden plants.
