Oh the guilt !

Home safely.
The trains were being very flexible about the tickets so we caught an early one and got into Birmingham International still with plenty of daylight. We had a mishap en route to Rugby, when a passing train flicked a lump of ice and broke one of our windows - but they got it sorted in Coventry and we were soon on our way.

The main roads were fine. Some idiots driving fast but that's usual. The side roads and my drive were another matter. My car is in a local carpark and I walked the last bit of the way.

But somehow Cyd heard me. She leapt through the deep snow and miaowed at the door. So she had some food there and then.... out in the snow.

I know she's well cared for. I know she has many homes. But she can still tug at the heart strings. And secretly, although she's cross, she's glad I'm home.
