As Polly is still limpy (I think the cold weather is aggravating her arthritis) Basil and I headed off to Iron Hill on our own this morning and, I have to say, we had a lovely walk together, just the two of us...just like old times :) He was full of beans and even ran up parts of the hill, which I haven't seen him do for a very long time.

Afterwards I headed over to Petersfield Heath with my camera to see what it looked like in the snow - and it looked very pretty. The birds were doing a lot of standing about and didn't give me many photo opportunities but at least you can always rely on the swans to be around doing their thing if nothing else.
