Tree in the sun

Brief episode of sunshine in what was otherwise an appropriately grey day to mourn our departure from the EU.

Others have said everything I want to say, and expressed it all much better than I ever could.  This particularly impressed me this morning.

But one thing that feels really "off" for me - it was just an ordinary day, and I expect tomorrow will be too.  There won't be any of the thunderclaps or cataclysms that I feel there ought to be, just a slow burn of things gradually getting worse.
