Tom goes to work... again

The husband took 'Tom' to work today, the eldest then wanted to know exactly what Tom had been up to for the day.

I spent my morning getting through as much work as I could and trying not to feel totally stressed about impending move.  In between that, I sorted out schools for the boys (might be trouble ahead with getting them both into the same school, but nothing will be known until April, which at the moment feels like years away), and then picked up the poor car which is all fixed and freshly MOT'd - to the tune of over £700... ouch.

Balanced my morning with a coffee with a friend this afternoon, meeting with a removal chap to quote for the move and an early pick up for the boys.  Felt far better about life after all of that.

The boys had a nice little play at nursery when I picked them up and I had a bit of a chat with the nursery ladies.  The eldest then dissolved into tears in the car as his teacher had said how sad she is that he's leaving, and she will miss him.  Through the sobs, I was told how much he loves her and will miss her.  Lots of (hopefully useful to a 4 year old) chat about how it's ok to be sad, that his new teacher is lovely (she is, I've met her) and things to look forward to.  Poor thing, I guess we're all in for some up's and down's in the coming weeks.
