A day of hostings

In early to get up to speed on my lecture for 10 am, exhausted after (annoyed to find out it didn’t record more hassle for me), had an hour or so spare before visiting speaker turned up. At 11.30 am there was a knock on the door and who was there but Mr.Kim from South Korea, last seen 22 years ago, unbelievable hadn’t changed a bit, apart from hair loss. Took him to lunch but had to rush back as was waiting for speaker - as it was she was train delayed and arrived late. Had an hour spare to work on paper revisions before hosting the 4 pm seminar.

Stayed in the office till 7 pm, as off into Kenilworth with our visiting colleagues from Brazil. A nice evening but I was exhausted when I got in but still had work to complete.
