Metrolink Bridge, Pomona Dock, Stretford.
I dropped my other half off at The Lowry and went around Salford Quays and Media City. I then went back over the lift-bridge and turned left toward the city centre and kept walking past the Trafford Rd Swing bridge and around to Pomona Docks which is now disused. The contrast between the re-developed Salford Quays and Pomona (which is the start of the River Irwell) was rather shocking, but I like the fact that Dock no. 3 is still there as a relic of our industrial past. (The rest have been filled-in)
The Bridgewater Canal is seen on the left and the MSC/Irwell Pomona Dock is on the right.
This is under the bridge of the Manchester Metrolink at Pomona.
