Mum, they made me work......

I collected Furbie from the cattery at 8.00 this morning and they told me she’d been helping. They’re  thinking of getting her a builder’s cap. The girls are refurbishing some luxury penthouse cat suites and Furbie loves to sit on their shoulders and help. She loves the fuss....

I was shattered. We flew home from Bergen via Oslo. Bergen was, as usual, wet, and our SAS flight was late, causing us some concern about catching the Heathrow flight.

The Norwegians are used to it. The plane made it in time and we learned why. Minus 3 and snow, and ice, would close many of our airports.

Before we could take off we had to be de-iced dramatically and carefully. All the planes were gathered together and then sprayed and sorted by spectacular tall cranes and machines. Seth would have loved them.

I kept thinking Munich and Man U, but we were safely sorted. Late arrival at Heathrow, an even longer wait for the hotel Hoppa.

I got home just after 2.00, tired but happy.

I’ve done the zombie grocery shop and most of the washing. Furbie and I are taking it easy.

This was such a tiring and exciting holiday, best ever, but I’m glad of a rest.
