The Amaryllis and William

Dear Diary,

My lovely Christmas gift is finally opening and it is such a joyful sight next to the winter landscape outside.  I think William approves too.  William is the little round glass piece hanging above which I got when I visited Rosslyn Chapel on my trip to Scotland in 2018.  William is the chapel's mascot and freely wanders around inside.  I have been doing some wandering in Scotland the last few days myself as I begin to sketch out an itinerary for a 2021 trip.  The same group that joined me in Ireland last year will reunite for this Scottish adventure.  Planning a trip is always such a fun thing to do.
