Hosta Bud

Like most people, I grow hostas for their foliage, but this little bud caught my eye.

Reasons to be happy about the drought:
Well, one reason.
The snails haven't been in evidence, so the hostas have looked just the way they're meant to - fabulous. 
Just joking, folks. I'd rather have the snails..

While I was pouring some buckets of water on my dead ferns I came across a big hairy spider and have put him as an extra.
It's a tiny crop, but worth checking out if you like that sort of thing:)
