Female Blackbird

I spent much of the day trying to complete the purple waistcoat I started last year and then put aside; it should be finished tomorrow.
 
Today’s picture is of a female Blackbird on one of our bird tables.
 
The temperature at GMT noon was nine degrees Celsius; later in the day it rose to eleven degrees Celsius.
