Sunset

Busy, busy day.
Physical therapy, lunch, several errands, camera club bird photography  group, followed by a free dinner at the nice restaurant at the casino.  A friend went with me since it was a promotional dinner for two.  She suggested we stop for a blizzard (the kind without snow) at Dairy Queen.  This shot was taken from their parking lot.  As you might imagine, I wasn't the only person out there with a camera. 

We get some gorgeous sunsets here during the fall/winter but this was among the best.  Orange and red spread in so many directions it was impossible to get it into a single frame. Things like this must really be seen in person.  It was jaw-dropping.

Then I had my junior pineapple blizzard and came home.  Nothing on tomorrow's calendar.  Yippee!

I did sign up for 12 sessions of personal training for after my shoulder rehab.  I want to work especially on my core and leg strength which will help my balance among other things.  He said we'll do upper body and cadio, too. Maybe I'll be able to do more strenuous hiking when I go on vacation in March!
