Railway Bridge

THURSDAY

I walk under this bridge most days on my way from the car to the office. The structure carries the main TransPennine railway line out of Huddersfield Station.

The pavement under the bridge is frequented by the occasional rough sleeper who this morning asked me if I had any spare change. I don't usually give money but offered him two pairs of gloves and a wooly hat which I had in by bag. They were gratefully received.

A busy day with site visits and with lunch with a work colleague at the Ravello restaurant in Mirfield.
