Happy 91st to my dear Mum

My Mum has had a lovely 91st birthday. My brother and I were invited to have lunch with her. As is the tradition in the home, the birthday person chooses the menu and everyone has the same. We had prawn cocktail, roast lamb dinner and rice pudding. It was exceptional and so flavour some! My brother had to work so left after lunch and Colin and I played Peggitty with her. We had great fun! For 91 she’s really on the ball! My sister in law, niece and her cousin who’s visiting came late afternoon and this evening our son and the family went. She saw our other son and the twins on FaceTime too which was lovely. She had 28 cards....not bad at her age! That’s more than I get. She’s one very special mum and deserved a special day. The staff were lovely too!
