Lichen

The largely damp, mild, Autumn and Winter weather has encouraged the growth of Lichen on a small fir tree in the garden. We have life long friends staying for a few days. Unfortunately we have been faced with mist and drizzle all day, but managed to get out for a few hours. Luckily the heavy rain passed through last night.
