More Gurskyism*

A bit of a stretch of the legs via a couple of arty galleries - the Colvin stuff at the RSA and on up to the Collective Gallery where there was an exhibition by a Casablanca based collective who are doing a Citizen project for a museum of collective memory. Indeed. I shared the space with some tourists doing what tourists do when sheltering from the sleet in a gallery.
Out later to the Filmhouse, for ’tis 100 years since the birth of Federico Fellini and fittingly there’s a nationwide showing of many of his fillums. The SK expressing some tiny ignorance of his greatest works, I insisted she chum me along to see at least one - and as Roma fitted in with the Diggers night, Roma it was. I think she enjoyed it, but our post-film chat was cut short by the arrival of the No1 bus which was soon speeding me through the rain sloshed streets. Not at all unlike the drive into Rome in the rain filmed so memorably in 1972. Or so I fancied.
