The Return of the Blackcap @_BTO

Taken through double glazing, in poor light, hence very high ISO.

This male Blackcap has returned to our garden to the fat balls for a second day. The Garden List 2013 is now at 23, the British List 2013 is 55.

More significantly, this is the first Blackcap in our garden since August 2011 and allows me to make my first contribution to the BTO's Garden Blackcap Survey.

Have a look at the BTO's web site. It's really rather good, if you are into birds, even in the slightest.
