Part Exchange

R and I are in the throes of buying a new to us car.

Being a non-driver there's not a lot I can tell you about the new one - except it has pedals - a roof - an engine - a boot - doors - and it's blue.

The car pictured is not the one being traded in - as it's still the ideal run around car - especially for the grandchildren and myself at times - despite it appearing only to have 3 wheels.

R is rather pleased the road tax will be cheaper - but is spooked by the thought that it will cost nearly as much as our houses did 30 odd years ago.
