Chesapeake Mill

This Mill is in Wickham, Hampshire. The timbers used in its construction came from the United States frigate Chesapeake which was captured by the Royal Navy during the war of 1812. 
In 1996 a timber fragment from the Mill was returned to the United States; it is on display at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum in Norfolk, Virginia.
