Cambus

Wednesday's walk with Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Ramblers was a 13km circuit near Cambus.

The weather was good enough when we started and visited Cambus Pools Nature Reserve (see extra) and we had completed most of our walk when we had our planned lunch stop in Cambus village - a tearoom lunch this time instead of the usual flask of tea and sandwich - but the drizzle that had come on by then turned to heavy rain and we finished the walk in a downpour.

One of these days when it was good to get home, have a shower and change into dry clothes.
